USA Cycling Level 2 Coach

Dynamic and determined with a welcome dose of southern charm; Giulia Isetti is more than a traditional fitness expert. The ACE certified personal trainer and USA Cycling Coach holds a Ph.D. in chemistry, teaches sports nutrition at Dominican University – and offers clients an unmatched opportunity to improve their athletic ability from the inside out. Isetti’s integrated approach to conditioning is simple, yet powerful. Instead of focusing solely on weight loss as the measure of success, the Louisville, KY native works tirelessly to promote physical transformation as an ongoing process impacted by good nutrition, and of course, exercise.
Isetti’s passion for cooking eventually set the course for her career in science. An opportunity to study in Italy with Master Chef Maurizio Campolonghi not only allowed her to embrace her Italian roots, but also elevated her interest in biochemistry. She quickly determined that cooking IS chemistry; it is very precise and scientific on some levels – yet very creative on others. Once back in the U.S., Isetti chose a new path and pursued multiple degrees in chemistry.
Having lost more than 100 pounds in recent years, Isetti knows first-hand the difference between “living to eat” and “eating to live.” She has a keen understanding of the chemistry that drives the body, which is an essential part of building a customized fitness regimen for her clients.
